Hello, I’m Ruchira Maniar, an artist who has found her artistic haven in Pune, India. Art has been a constant companion in my life, but it’s only in the past five years that I delved deeper into this world, thanks to the unique opportunity the pandemic presented.

I draw abundant inspiration for my paintings from the ever-changing beauty of nature, whether it’s the serene allure of a sunset, the delicate fragility of a bloom, or the vast grandeur of landscapes.

Beyond the allure of nature, I’m also drawn to the mystical and supernatural. From portraying sacred places like Kedarnath temple to crafting enigmatic figures like Buddha, I love to infuse a touch of mystique into my work.

My artistic journey is a diverse one, swinging between the structured realism of the tangible world and the abstract. I try to explore new techniques and styles, and love to play around with colours. I’m like a kid in a candy store when I have a paintbrush in my hand.
